What we collect

When you join the pre-order list or contact us, we collect what you give us: your name, mobile, email, postcode, your boat, the size, colour and accessories you are interested in, how you heard about us and anything you write in the message box.

We do not collect payment details through this website. If you pay a deposit, that is handled by our payment provider, and we never see or store your full card number.

Why we collect it

• To keep you updated about Sea Pools, production runs and deposits
• To answer your questions and help you choose a size
• To plan production, for example how many of each size and colour to build
• To process orders, deliveries and warranty claims if you buy from us

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your details. We only share them with services we use to run the business: our website and form host, our email provider, our payment provider, and freight companies when we deliver an order.

Some of these services store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security and privacy practices.

Marketing emails

We will only send you Sea Pools news if you have joined the list or ordered from us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to take you off the list at any time.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete details we no longer need.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first. If we cannot fix it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
